An anniversary session: one last goodbye before returning to London

Maggie and Iain, after a year of health scares, stress, and turmoil over jobs and calling, wanted to celebrate the 6 years they spent in New York as well as remember the love they shared even through hardship at each of their favorite spots in New York. (They spent a lot of it in Morningside Heights) Because they were leaving soon after this, when we saw the rain forecast, we decided to shoot anyway. Somehow (!) the rain held off and the sun peeked through right at the end — somewhat symbolic you might say of the time they spent here and their next adventure back home.

“What if I had been born fifty years before you / In a house on the street / Where you lived / Maybe I'd be outside as you passed on your bike. Would I know? / And in a wide sea of eyes / I see one pair that I recognize”
