I don't have quite the right words yet to sum it up, but yesterday was a breathtaking 24 hours in every way. What a couple, and what a meaningful community around them. They're so so loved.
I've almost never done carousel posts because I love to be able to pause and take in just one photo at a time in our endless swiping culture (just me though, I love everyone else's carousels hahaha) but yesterday was just too full for one. Second photo is the best bride's first look reaction I've ever seen. So sweet!!

ONE MORE SLEEP!!!! that's all I got. This photo is exactly how I feel.

Like a still out of an old movie. My favorite kind of shots. (At one of the best bakeries in town.)

(When your dear friends move across the pond, you have no choice but to photograph them.) A little behind the scenes of this whole thing: this photo makes me giddy because had so little times where there was sun in the forecast to shoot, and she decided to peek out for just the right time on the final day. ❤️And to them, the sun meant so much more than pretty light (though that it is) but rather a reflection of life and the joy they spent here for the last 6 years, and coming to a bittersweet end. It really is such an honor to come alongside people you love and *try* to document the complexities of their experiences and emotions.

All sorts of nostalgia for this couple (I think nostalgia can also be for things that haven't happened yet, in a way! haha). I love that they talk openly about how excited they are to be middle aged and eventually grandparents together. One more month til the big day!!

I love a rare serious face when kids are constantly goofing off... and I love the reflection of alphabet letters in the window 😂
